A Connection with Adoptees

I have a special connection with my adoptee friends that I do not have with my non adoptee friends.

We have a bond that my non adoptees have Adoption.

I can say what I am struggling with adoption issues and they understand me right away.

I am not expected to be thankful for being adopted.

I am supported by fellow adoptees and they give me a listening ear instead of you How I should feel or not feel or that I should not feel that way.

Adoptees understand triggers and support you when you are triggered by what someone says or comments on adoption.
