This summer our street has been in upheaval . Our street has been dug up and several times. Our street is noisy with machinery up and down our street and our house has shook and vibrated.
There has been times that I wonder if the shaking will every stop and I am glad our house is on a good foundation.
In the summer time I move my quiet time to outside. I have had to be creative where I can find a place for a quiet time.
In the summer time I move my quiet time to outside. I have had to be creative where I can find a place for a quiet time.
I am going out to the Kissing Bridge trail to be quiet and think. Afterwards I am reading my Bible in the car with a cup of coffee.
It does not take much for me to be distracted. I am learning that I have to carve out to be with Jesus.
When I am distracted my relationship with Jesus becomes stale. I panic as I have forgotten to keep silent in Jesus presence.
I am learning the importance of not being in a bad mood because of noise from the street and water being turned off.
I have found I complain more when my devotions are distracted by noise of the outside life. Music change an attitude.
Leaving the noise of the street for a while helps and a good sense of humor.
I know I panic more when I have not had my quality time with Jesus. I am committed to staying connected to the True Vine Jesus
