Last week I finished my third book. All three of my books have had some heavy issues that I wrote about. I am now free to write about the lighter side of life.
. For me to experience the lighter side of Life I have dressed up and I joked a lot.
I have learned that this is apart of me. I have tried to keep my silliness tame but when I have a silly joke or a silly idea or write a silly poem people wonder if I have been drinking. I think that they think that I am not being sophisticated enough. Margaret might be cracking up.
A silly thought has to come out or it stays and it is itching to come out. :There is a right time and not a good time to let a joke out. The word is Discernment
Trust me I am not cracking up. The only crack that I have is in my posterior. If I do not smile I am afraid that I am going to freeze up and my face will stay frozen in a frown.
I have fun at a party without the side effects of drinking. I do not have my head in a dirty toilet throwing up. I do not have a red nose from drinking just a red clown nose that will not stay on my nose.
I come home relaxed after a party and ready to face whatever I have left behind for a while.
A wise friend mentioned to me that it is good to have light thoughts during a difficult situation as it is chronic relief and it is entirely acceptable to do so.
You do have to face what is going on in life but it does not hurt to have a break and think about something else. Friend we do not have to face issues alone. I know that I have a friend who sticks closer to me than a brother. Jesus.
Laughter is good medicine and your bones do not dry up. Keep on the sunny side of life and enjoy the lighter side of living.
Keep on the Lighter side of Life
